Established in 2008 by myself, Chris Neal, as County Stump Removal, LLC, later became Ballwin Tree Service, LLC in 2010 to satisfy the growing demand for reasonable, safe, tree and stump removal as well as trimming and preventive care.

Tree Removal

Tree Removal is a dangerous job that requires specialized training and proper equipment in order to minimize risk. Removing trees without proper training or equipment often results in property damage, injury, or worse! The trained experts at Ballwin Tree Service take every precaution to minimize risk as much as possible. Using proper ropes, safety equipment and techniques, our climbers can take down even the most difficult and dangerous trees by utilizing years of experience working with dangerous and difficult trees. Don't try this at home!

Tree Trimming

Our staff has been trimming trees for years! Pruning is often necessary to remove dead or dangerous limbs, to reduce weight, stimulate new growth, or facilitate a healthy growth pattern. Proper pruning techniques are vital to the safety and overall health of your trees. Please make sure you are working with an arborist or someone that understands the proper season for trimming, as well as the limitations to trimming and the consequences of careless work.

Stump Removal

Removing the stump is quite a job in itself. Our stump grinder is self propelled and will fit through a 36" gate. We typically gring 6-7" below grade on larger trees where re-planting in the same spot is not an issue. We have the ability to grind about 12 to 14" below grade on smaller stumps if necessary. We typically include removal of all the grindings unless other arrangements are made and offer to backfill, seed, and straw for an additional charge.
